Halloween is the best night of the year!! If you don’t have plans or had friends cancel, then check out these last minute Halloween activities you can do!
Go to a Haunted House!
This is a great last minute activity to do! There are tons of haunted houses all throughout the country. Google haunted house attractions around your area and see what you find. There are also other attractions you can go to, such as haunted hay rides, ghost walks (like a haunted house except you’re following a trail) and so many others! It’s a great way to get scared and to also get into the Halloween spirit!
Spooky Dinner Party
Throw a last-minute dinner party!! Instead of making a bunch of different Halloween treats, pick a theme and go with it. Whether it’s a vampire themed dinner or classic horror character themed meals. Let your creativity run wild! Make a quick run out to the store and invite friends and family over for a meal before the Halloween festivities begin.
DIY Halloween Costumes
If you think hard enough, there are Halloween costumes all around your home just waiting to be created. Think of well-known characters that do not need a lot to create. Zombies are normally the easiest; simply tear up some clothing, add some fake dirt and blood and there you go! It’s quite easy to make a costume at home, so if you don’t have time to plan it’s a great resort.
Decorate Your Porch/Door
If you’re suddenly going to be stuck at home on Halloween, decorate your entrance for the little trick-or-treaters that will be visiting you! If you have a porch, put up some fake spiderweb’s, add some lights and sit out with some spooky tunes on. It’s a great way to have fun and it puts everyone else in the Halloween spirit as well. Invite some friends over to help hand out candy!
Watch Some Videos and Do Some Makeup Tutorials!
Break out the booze and have a fun makeup night in your place! Look up some cool makeup tutorials and go at it. Practice makes perfect when it comes to Halloween makeup, but after you’re finished post your spooky selfies on Facebook or Instagram!
Throw Your Own Halloween Party!
You may be thinking that throwing a Halloween party is impossible to do on short notice, but it’s honestly easier than you think. Grab some snacks, make your own Halloween playlist on Spotify and have everyone bring their own booze. It doesn’t have to be anything over the top, but put up a little decorations and you’re ready to go!
Have A Movie Night!
If all else fails, it’s always fun to curl up on the couch, lock up the doors and stay in for a movie night. Get yourself a little scared and enjoy that it’s Halloween! I recommend watching Halloween, the Conjuring, the Strangers, Nightmare on Elm Street, the Shining and Friday the 13th!
Have a fun & safe Halloween!
